If you like beautiful planets and seeing a spaceship fly over them or past them, this is the video for you. The video is made using the universe simulator Space Engine. I have taken up the challenge to fly spaceships. Space Engine makes it pretty simple to fly spaceships in space, but flying in a planet's atmosphere is not easy. It can get a little bumpy at times, so fasten your seatbelts. Next time, I should probably put aside the glass of wine before I attempt this. As it is, I would like to chalk up any erratic movements to turbulence. LOL.
There are 5 planets in the video, much varied in their appearance. See below for details on this, and for details on the great music provided by Alex Storer of The Light Dreams. I think the music by Alex Storer is great for flying, and can get your heart pounding at times. If you approve of this video, be sure to like and share. A brief summary of the planets...
#1: Taking off from a dry rugged planet with rings, and flying over a crater.
#2: A flyover of a volcano on a planet with rings.
#3: 3 scenes of a beauiful gas giant with rings. Approach, from orbit, then leaving.
#4: 3 scenes flying through a canyon on a Titan-like planet, where temperatures are colder than 300 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Despite the extreme cold. there is exotic (green) plant life. The "river" is not water, but liquid methane/ethane. Scenes includes a quick turn past the side of the canyon, and a roll.
#5: Takeoff, and flying along the edge of an ice cap on a planet with abundant water.
