Along with the epic music accompaniment (thank you Regina Spektor) you'll notice our Garden Grid irrigation system (black tubing) surrounding the plant. Using the square foot method of planting, you can grow and harvest up to 16 carrots per square!
Carrots are a resilient root crop that can withstand the cold and hot summer months. Since they are a root vegetable, and grow under the soil, carrots aren't as affected as much by temperatures that otherwise could damage more delicate plants.
If you're garden is struggling in the hot summer months or unexpected cold has left your garden looking bleak, carrots are always reliable. Keep them watered well and use a firm grip when pulling them out of the soil.

The planting guide portion gives you equal sized planting areas so you can space your seeds/plants evenly and efficiently.
The garden irrigation portion gives you even ground level watering for all plants and is adjustable from a drip for seedlings, to a full stream for mature plants. Multiples connect together and you control the water flow to each Garden Grid independently!
Best of all, there are no little pieces or tools needed. The Garden Grid arrives either fully assembled or in easy to connect halves!
