Fresh discoveries have been made in the ancient Italian town of Pompeii.
Officials say an extremely rare Samnite tomb has been unearthed, which is believed to date back to the fourth century BC.
The grave, discovered by a Franco-Italian team, contains the remains of a woman, estimated to have been aged between 35 and 40 years old when she died.
The pre-Roman site was discovered in good condition and contained many funeral items, giving archaeologists a rare insight into the burial practices…
