~~~UPDATE 7/6/12- Mamma (Gabby) was rescued by Shetler2rescue's foster mom Gayla who made this video and her new litter of white puppies where saved by Operation Kindness. Gabby was adopted by a family who adopted another of our dogs. She has a work from home dad. One of her 6 month olds are also with Gayla and the rest are either in adoptions at the Dallas Animal Shelter or have already been adopted.~~~~
Mamma (now named Gabby) and her puppies did have rescue, but it feel through and for Mamma and her puppies safetly, they were taken to Dallas Animal Shelter. Mamma and her 6 month old litter had been living on the streets of Dallas Texas. There were at one time 6 puppies. One of them disappeared before they were rescued, another one I took since she was the only shy one that was SUPER shy. She is coming out of her shell wonderfully. Now Mamma has a new litter of all white and creme puppies. Mamma is so friendly, gentle and well mannered. While waiting at intake at DAS, she sat very quietly then laid down. I absolutely hated leaving her and her family there. The dad of all these puppies are suspected to be a small side of medium Blonde Aussie/Spaniel mix dog that belongs to the people who feed this family and allowed all of them to run the streets. Does anyone have room for this mom and her puppies? Mark says her 6 month old litter will likely move to adoptions now that they have settled in and are not as scared at the shelter.
