Great news for fans of gratuitously chaotic racing games! The explosion-heavy and pedestrian-slaying Carmageddon: Max Damage has an official release date, and the devs are celebrating that with a completely new trailer

You should know what to anticipate from a Carmageddon game by now: bloody racing and vehicular combat. The game's pr puts it a little more bluntly: "power-up fuelled destruction and pedestrian pummelling".

Carmageddon is 19 years old this present year. Despite shinier graphics the gameplay of Max Damage looks pretty similar to previous versions in the series.
