Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopment disorder that affects children and adults. In children, this condition affects their ability to concentrate, accomplish tasks, and control their emotions. Some children may show symptoms of ADHD in childhood, though others may show signs during their teen years.
The most common symptoms of ADHD in children are impulsiveness, hyperactivity, inattentiveness, daydreaming, forgetfulness, and anger outbursts. These symptoms may change, however. ADHD in children is treatable so parents should review and discuss all available treatment options with a professional.
