Leo Fender did not play guitar. He was an engineer that just knew how to make things better for guitar players in a world where electric guitars were new and needed to be innovated. In that respect, this is either the MOST Leo Fender guitar of all time or it is the LEAST Leo Fender guitar of all time, depending on how you feel about the original Fender S1 switching setup. In my opinion, if you have to have a cheatsheet to know how to operate the switching, it's probably too complex for most musicians. And that is why this version of the S1 switching did not last very long. But check it out and see what you think. Enjoy!
