In this video, I show how to remove the stock exhaust system on my 2001 Volkswagen Golf TDI and replace it with a new performance system. My exhaust pipe broke off right after the catalytic converter and instead of getting that welded, I decided to replace the whole system. I chose the 3" stainless steel exhaust system from KermaTDI. This kit included everything that you need except for new hangers/mounts. I had to replace the mid pipe hangers because they were severely rusted. I did need to modify the rear exhaust tip because it did not line up with the stock hanger. I did notify KermanTDI and they were nice enough to send me a different style hanger which worked great! Overall, I am very pleased with this exhaust system and it sounds great! It makes the driving experience a lot more fun in my opinion.
