The first step of tasting wine (or maybe the second actually, after uncorking the bottle) is to pour the wine into a glass.
This moment has something magical about it, it's when the wine reveals itself for the first time to your senses, to your sight. As we know, the first impression does matter.
I tasted this 2013 Manzoni Bianco (a grape variety developed in the 1930s be crossing Pinot Bianco with Riesling) one beautiful night of October 2015. It is made the Azienda Agricola Corvezzo based in the Veneto region of Italy.
I was most impressed by the aromatic intensity of the wine, packed full of citrus, honey and tropical flavors.
Liked it so much I rated it a 91 Score
