With all the talk of the Rybakov antenna, I decided to build one with a spare 140-43 Toroid I had laying around. I printed up an unun box, and made myself a 4:1 knowing that I'd be able to tune darn near anything with the G90 tuner.
My antenna was about 25 feet of radiating element, with 4 17.5 foot radials at the bottom. I used BNTechGo wire for the radiator, and WF-16 for the radials. It took a while to get my first contact, and I was definitely starting to sweat it when I heard an SM call break the dry spell.
Today's Setup:
Rybakov Antenna
Jackite 31 Foot pole
Xiegu G90
CWMorse SP4
RG-316 Coax
Campstools
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
