London Bridge station was extensively redeveloped in 2018 so I thought it was worth a look, as I'd only seen it briefly when passing through on my "All by Twos East" challenge.
Once there, I had the afternoon spare, so why not investigate the countryside of Kent, using one of the very few diesel services going out of the station? So that's how it turns out I'm on the Class 171 Turbostar service to Uckfield. I thought Hever would be an interesting stop, as it really is a country station. In fact, the station is a fair distance from the village itself!
