Construction of the new Manggarai train station, that includes a number of platforms on the third floor and a concourse level on the second floor, is still ongoing. Step by step, this station is constructed from the far site of the old colonial train station building. Currently, works are ongoing for the construction of another island platform that will service trains next year. In this video a quick look at the construction of a new section of the giant roof over the entire train station as well as a crane working on getting pieces of that roof in the right location.
