Luther Perkins was one of the founding members of the Tennessee two who gave Johnny Cash his classic sound. 🎶🎸🚂

On August 3 1968 Mr. Perkins Hendersonville Tennessee caught fire and sadly Two days later on August 5, 1968, Mr. Perkins succumbed to his injuries of Smoke Inhalation and third-degree burns. he was only 40 years old. 😢

He is buried at the Hendersonville Memorial Gardens in Hendersonville Tennessee.

Yesterday on June 9, 2022 I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Perkins wife Margie at a country music concert in Nashville Tennessee. What a beautiful and kind woman she is.❤️
