In this English lesson you will learn how to agree with someone in English. Sometimes you want to disagree with people, but other times you are thinking the same thing as them. A while ago I made a video to help you learn to disagree in English. In this video you will learn to agree.

TRANSCRIPT:
Hi, Bob the Canadian here. A while ago I made a video where I helped you learn how to disagree with someone using the English language.
But I thought to myself the other day, I never really made a video where I explain a number of different ways that you can agree with someone in English. So let’s do that today.
Hey welcome to this video if this your first time here don’t forget to click the subscribe button below and if you find this video helpful give me a thumbs up somewhere along the way.
Well in today’s video I’m going to help you learn five different ways, this is part one of a two part series, I’m going to help you learn five different ways to agree with someone in English.
One of the first ways to agree with someone in English is to simply say, “I agree with you.” Now there’s a number of different ways to say, “I agree with you.” You could say, “I completely agree with you. I totally agree with you.” And you could also say, “I couldn’t agree more.” or “I couldn't agree with you more.” All of those would be ways to say, “I agree with you.”
A second way to agree with someone in English is to say, “You’re right!” You could say, “You’re right! You’re absolutely right!” or “You’re totally right!” Maybe someone has said to you, you know, maybe they’ve pointed out a mistake that you’ve made and you could stop and you could think about what they’ve said to you and you could say, “You’re right. You’re totally right. You’re absolutely right.”
A third way that you could agree with someone in English is to say, “I feel the same way.” Maybe you’ve gone to a party and your brother has commented that he thought it was the best party that he had ever been to. You could say to your brother, “I feel the same way.” So basically you’re saying to them that you agree with what they have said by saying that you are feeling the same kinds of emotions about the party. I feel the same way.
A fourth way that you can agree with someone in English is to say, “I think so.” or “I think so too.” So basically a person is saying that they think a certain way, that they’re thinking a certain way about something, maybe they think that their car is broken and you could agree with them by saying, “I think so too.” or “I think so.”
