Various clips of 101st Airborne Division troopers moving through areas in modern-day Baden-Württemberg (Southwest), Germany in April 1945, shortly before the end of the war in Europe. Based on the helmet markings, the 101st Signal Company looks to be featured in most of this footage. We see the Signals troopers running wire in various shots. The locations in the footage include Ludwigshafen, Heidelberg, and setting up shop in Ravenstein (identified as Merchingen in the original archival information). Source: NARA, 111-ADC-2528.
