CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A former police officer accused of trying to kill his ex-girlfriend pleaded guilty.
David Mueller admitted to the assault charge Tuesday morning. He'll be sentenced in August.
Deputies say Mueller attacked a woman with a butcher knife at her Symmes Township home in April. She survived getting stabbed in the back, legs and midsection.
Mueller was formerly a police officer in the village of New Vienna in Clinton County. He was convicted of manslaughter for killing a man during a domestic violence call in 2002.
