What's up guys! Today's video is agility and quickness training for athletes and lateral change of direction drills. It's all about fast first step training and change of direction speed drills. This is a change of direction and agility session that I do with my athletes, working on fast and efficient lateral movements. Shuffling and lateral movements are very important for sports, and we have to be quick and efficient throughout these movements. We start off with some plyos for change of direction, and then we quickly move into change of direction drills working in small spaces that require really fast movements. We then open it up at the end and allow for lateral to linear change of direction, essentially working on a shuffle into a sprint. And of course, we do a lot of reactive change of direction drills with a tennis ball, so working on that hand eye coordination as well! Enjoy!
