This is a pattern you can use to clear boards 21 through to, and including 255.

235 straight boards of running the same pattern. It's mentaly taxing, takes a lot of concentration, and can go off the rails at any point. Keep your cool and try not to let the mind wander. I usually break it down in my mind as segments of 8 boards at a time, which is roughly 100,000 points.

This pattern works on, at least, the original Pac-Man arcade machine, the MAME emulator, and I'm told, the XBox 360 version.
