In April 2012 there was a Camp Film Festival and Camp/Anti-Camp; A Queer Guide to Everyday Life festival in Berlin. There were lecturers like Heather Love, Elizabeth Lebovici, Gavin Butt, Bruce LaBruce and Douglas Crimp, and performances by Vaginal Davis, Narcissister and The Voloptuous Horror of Karen Black. But the grand opening act was given to Holly Woodlawn, maybe the only surviving Superstar of Andy Warhol's Factory. Holly was rolled-in on a beautiful white couch, and she gave a long entertaining talk-show. She sang two songs, and I managed to film one of them, a really touching song about a person who dreams of stardom, Holly Woodlawn recieved a huge success in front of Berlin very camp-wise audience. There was John Blue in cello and Daniel Hendrickson in piano. The festival was curated by Susanne Sachsse and Marc Siegel, - Walter de Camp
