Nickel (II) Chloride (NiCl2), Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) are each deliquescent substances, though CaCl2 is considerably more deliquescent. Here, CaCl2 swiftly picks up moisture to form a saturated solution, in which NiCl2 spontaneously codissolves upon contact.
