A refreshing Greek meze or dip, this homemade Tzatziki is easy to make and goes great with grilled meats and pita bread. A must for any barbecue.

A creamy dip with a hint of garlic and dill and a refreshing addition of shredded cucumber makes Tzatziki one of my favourite dips.

A bowlful of tzatziki with some torn up pita bread and a few veggies  = a creamy, delicious, Summer lunch!

Ingredients:
½ a large cucumber
1 cup (240ml) Greek yoghurt - (full fat works best)
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp dried dill - (or 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped)
½ a small clove of garlic - peeled and minced
½ tsp sugar - (caster/granulated/superfine are all fine)
1 pinch of salt
