A new book written by journalist Robert Hardman has shed light on the Queen's alleged fury over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle naming their daughter Lilibet.
Lilibet was the Queen's childhood nickname, and the couple's decision to use it without seeking permission from Her Majesty reportedly left her "absolutely spitting blood." Despite the couple's claims of having the Queen's blessing, the book suggests otherwise, painting a picture of strained relations between the Sussexes and the royal family.
The book also suggests that Harry and Meghan had little interest in fostering a relationship between their children and the royal family. Despite using the Queen's nickname for their daughter, they reportedly had no intention of introducing her to her great-grandmother. This raised eyebrows as it seemed they only used the name for publicity purposes, to solidify their image as still being important members of the royal circle.
