An honest unbiased review of Michele's pizza in Naples. I am half English on my mother's side, but I was born and bred in Naples, and have lived here all my life. So is my girlfriend Rosa, as well as the guy I interviewed in the street.
I would love to say Michele's pizza is excellent, but it's not. The place is authentic, there is a very long wait and then you are served and eat in a hurry.
The ingredients are not best quality and the pizza will leave you bloated from both eating it fast and from it containing too much yeast.
However, it is cheap and the waiters are Neapolitan, as you would expect.
Proof of negative review?
Just try counting how many Neapolitan people go there as opposed to how many foreigners or Italian tourists who are not from Naples.
