This was my warm-up hike for the Super Sierra High Route. I met up with Mudslide in Denver and we drove down to Wolf Creek Pass to hike the CDT through the Weminuche Wilderness up to San Luis Pass. On our 2019 CDT thru-hike, both of us had to detour around this section due to extreme snow levels. Turns out hiking in the San Juans is hard in any season, especially if you didn't train enough!
