More than 10 thousand species of Trilobites have been discovered by Paleontologists. But here's the problem. Scientists still know little about these interesting arthropods. A recently discovered find revealed an interesting fact from the life of Trilobites. Bite marks and healed shell scars have been found, holes made by teeth or claws, fragments of shells and shells of losers in the coprolites of winners, and so on. According to American researchers, this is due to the fact that Trilobites hunted worms, finding their minks and chasing them. This hypothesis is supported, for example, by the fact that the Trilobites that lived in these places at that time were distinguished by well-developed eyes, with which it was easy to detect worm holes even in muddy water. However, they could also search for prey by smell, the researchers do not exclude.
