It is time to open the 4th day of the Foodvent advent calendar.
Today we are sharing a favourite recipe. Although you do not usually associate Ice Cream with Christmas, this recipe is an old family favourite of Emma’s. It is absolutely delicious served alone but can be accompanied by pretty much every Christmas dessert. It is a fantastic side to Christmas pudding. You have to try it – trust me you will thank us.
To make it easier for your shopping list please see below the list of ingredients to make the ice cream
4 Egg Yolks
75g Caster Sugar
1tsp Cornflour
300ml Milk
40g Butter
75g Brown Breadcrumbs
50g light Brown Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Essence
300ml Double Cream
