Lehsuni Dal Palak
Tur Dal Soaked - 1 cup
Split Masoor Dal Soaked - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Garlic - 1 tbsp
Chopped Ginger - 1/2 Tsp
Dried Red chili - 3 pieces small
Chopped onion - 2 tbsp
Chopped green chili - 1/2 Tsp
Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Spinach - 1 bunch
Chopped coriander - 2 tbsp
Boiled Dal - As per final yield
Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
Method
1. Cook dal in pressure cooker with water, salt, chilli and turmeric powder until 3 whistles.
2. Heat pan add ghee to sauté cumin, chopped ginger garlic, onion and chilli until light brown.
3. Add spinach allow to it cook for 2 mins and pour boiled dal in the same pan, cover with a lid and cook for 5 mins. Check seasoning, garnish with some extra ghee and ginger serve hot.
