Pareti Mobile Walls are moveable wall systems are walls you build section by section creating new rooms and exhibit areas without a construction mess.
They're easy to maintain and can be reconfigured to make new floor plans. They allow you to redesign, use space temporarily and change your mind if you want to.
This video will show you how to set up Pareti Mobile Wall systems.
While the walls usually require only a couple of tools for assembly, you might find the following tools helpful to have: an 8 ft ladder, a wood clamp used to join seams tightly if walls were in a humid environment or if they retained memory from their last use, a rubber mallet, power drill and at minimum you'll need a 9/16ths wrench and a level.
First let's go over Pareti Mobile Walls pieces and parts.
a 24" wide wall
a 48" wide wall
a 24" x 24" Corner end
a 24" x 24" T end
End caps
and Joiners
All walls, ends and end caps are 96" tall.
Step One: start with the end
start with a corner or t shaped end to begin your wall.
First, lay the T or corner end horizontally. Using your hand or drill adjust the feet so they are extended about 1 inch. This will allow enough height to level the corner or T section on most floors.
Stand the corner or T end upright according to your floor plan. This adjustment is done while the walls are standing up, however we thought we'd create this sample so you can see where the wrench goes when adjusting. While adjusting check with a level tool. On uneven floors, sometimes this adjustment must be done visually.
Turning clockwise lowers the foot
Counterclockwise raises the foot.
Step 2 - join the next panel
Once your corner or T end are level you're ready to add more sections. When lifting a section it's best to grasp the top and walk so it's standing. Use one of the pocket areas where the joiners go to get a better grip.
Place the joiners in the pocketed areas, align the next section to the joiners, and push.
Repeat this process with each section you add, being sure to add a section and level the feet as you go. Each section will likely need adjustment since very few floors are perfectly level. And it's much easier to do this section by section as you go, rather than set up the whole wall and THEN adjust.
Repeat with each section you add. If you're leveling as you go and notice the seam is open at the top. Use the 9/16th wrench to lower both feet in that section.
So, with each section, if the seam is open at the top, lower the feet. If the seam is open at the bottom, raise the feet.
Step 5
When all the walls are level you can place the top joiners in the top channel to stabilize the walls. When done, seams should be even and straight for great looking walls.
