Rise Again was featured in April 2020 as part of the Jewish community’s national Holocaust Remembrance Day commemorations broadcast across the country.
In 2015, March of the Living Canada presented Leon with a special award in honor of his contributions.
The award thanked Dubinsky “for donating your outstanding musical gifts in the service of your community, and for allowing the March of the Living to perform your song which has touched thousands of young marchers across Canada, thereby helping educate future generations, concerning the history and lessons of the Holocaust. The award concluded with these words:
“Your selfless example inspires us all.”
