• Factors affecting the risk of developing chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)
• Patient quality of life (QoL)
• Review the venous system (normal blood flow vs. complications)
• Assessment and differential diagnosis
• Differences between venous and mixed (venous/arterial) leg ulcers
• Why and how edema occurs
• Skin changes associated with CVI and venous leg ulcers
