Wizzard was a British rock band formed by Roy Wood, who had left the Electric Light Orchestra in 1972. Their first single, "Ball Park Incident", was released in December 1972 and reached number six on the UK charts. The song was a catchy glam rock tune with saxophones, cellos and Wood's distinctive vocals.
Pan's People was a popular dance group that performed on the British TV show Top of the Pops from 1968 to 1976. They were known for their glamorous outfits and choreographed routines to the latest hits. The group consisted of six female dancers, who changed over the years, but the most famous line-up included Babs Lord, Dee Dee Wilde, Ruth Pearson, Louise Clarke, Andi Rutherford and Flick Colby. Pan's People also appeared on other TV shows and in nightclubs across Europe. They were one of the first dance troupes to gain recognition and fame on British television.
