Adobe is officially dropping support for Flash Player starting January 1, 2021, and you may have noticed a message pop up on your Mac to uninstall it. We recommend taking action to remove Flash Player unless you have a very specific reason to keep it.

The main reason to uninstall it is because since there is no support or security updates anymore, leaving it on your system could leave you vulnerable to malicious attacks or infections, which Flash has notoriously been a target for many years.
