This is my last day for my trip to Khao Sok National Park.
Khao Sok National Park is perfectly situated on the mainland between Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak, and Koh Samui, the most popular travel destinations in Southern Thailand. it is an amazing place for exploring.
It is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, huge limestone mountains shooting straight up in the air, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, exciting caves, wild animals, and much more. Close and personal elephant encounters, jungle trekking on foot, lake tours, and canoeing are all possible activities, giving you the experience of a lifetime.
One of the most scenic areas in this park is the stunningly beautiful Cheow Larn Lake in the heart of the National Park with its floating raft houses and luxury tents, a stunning region of Khao Sok National Park, which could be described best as Shangri La of Thailand. Khao Sok National Park is such a place and the panoramic views aboard a longtail boat, cruising the tranquil waters of gorgeous Cheow Lan Lake are nothing short of extraordinary.
Khao Sok Village (Khlong Sok) is just outside the gate to the Khao Sok National Park. It is the main base from which to venture into the park. There are many guesthouses, resorts, and other holiday accommodations catering to the park visitors. Among these are tasty restaurants, relaxing cafes, exciting bars, and shops.
