The lads were asked about the idea of wearing both a tartan tie and a matching tartan pocket square with a kilt for a holiday party outfit. And the discussion escalates to one of tartan suits.

What is a tartan suit? The tartan suit is a kilt outfit where a tartan kilt is paired with a tartan vest and tartan jacket. It's been around in one form or another since the 18th century. Modernly, only really bold personalities tend to sport this intense look.
