PLEASE NOTE: We are aware that there is a serious issue in our song that perpetuates a misinformed and racist stereotype that all black people are from "Africa" and that it is just "one big country."

Please inform your children and students that Africa is a continent and the person in the song is South African and from the country of South Africa.

We originally wanted to place the country, South Africa, there. However, there was a problem with the number of syllables, the phrasing, and therefore the speed at which the words would have to be delivered in order for them to fit within the song structure.
We worried that at this speed of delivery, learners would not be able to properly hear and, therefore, learn the words in the way we wanted.
This was one of our earliest videos we produced, while the company was at the very beginning of its journey. As such, the software used to produce this song has since been updated and, unfortunately, we are unable to fix the video and remove this harmful stereotype.
