And I genuinely feel like we don't really try that hard with him. He has other tricks too, like opening the door when he shouldn't to join us inside (it's a lever), helping me when I am digging dirt (so far only when I am), helping me drag the hose around the yard, come, stay, no, don't bite, go get it (fetch)/drop it... and if I say "what's this" he backs right off and knows I've claimed something as mine (and he leaves it alone longer term).

he's only 4 months! Sheesh! Gonna have to get a dog tricks book to keep this guy busy...
