Video of the second part of John Rees's highly informative talk at Wigan Diggers' Festival on Saturday 10th September 2016 in Wigan Parish Church, on the radicals of the English revolution.
John explained the background to the rise of the radicalism of the period and the role played by radical groups such as The Levellers and The Diggers in the popular revolution that resulted in the overthrow of the monarchy in 1649 and the establishment of a new social, economic and political order.
He also answers questions asked by the audience.
