Having recently purchased a DJI Osmo Action 3, I was disappointed to find that the audio was distorted, when using my mic, in my motorcycle helmet. I had a look on YouTube, and others have had similar issues. I will put a link to the post I watched, but I thought I would elaborate on the experience I was finding, in real world riding, and how the fix worked for me.
I hope anyone else who has been suffering with these distortion issues, will be able to take something from this. Obviously what worked for me, might not work for you, but it is a relatively cheap fix, and worth a go.
I am not a techy, so please bare that in mind.
I did still have to increase the volume in editing, but that isn’t an issue, just another step in the process.

Now I just need to straighten up the view 🙄😂

Ultimately , the twin wireless mic set up would be the way to go, but as my pension only goes so far, that will have to wait a while 😉.
