An unlicensed daycare is not an illegal center but instead refers to the independence and autonomy that the daycare operator possesses over their establishment. As new funding comes in across the provinces with the affordable childcare deals, many home daycare providers face an uncertain future and what publicly funded childcare will mean for their businesses.
