This is a strange made-up type of band, that was begun in 1979 in Bologna, Italy as a kind of studio band, and it’s described as Italian-American. It was one of these bands with a revolving group of musicians and singers, let by the founders Jaques Petrus, Mauro Malavasi, and involved Davidi Romani.
They had a number of hits, but this one featured the legendary Luther Vandross as lead vocals, before he became super famous. Luther sadly died in 2005.
