The left hamstring does not cause a lateral pelvic tilt. In fact we want to use the left hamstring to help us get out of the lateral pelvic tilt.
As Postural Restoration has helped people realize, underlying any tilt of the pelvis is the left AIC pattern which has its origins in the normal asymmetry of the human body.
I believe the confusion occurs because when we look at diagrams of a lateral pelvic tilt it doesn't show the three dimensional aspect of the pelvis.
