Kolak is a sweet Indonesian dessert made with palm sugar, coconut milk and pandan leaves that give it it’s distinctive flavour, you can make it with lots of different ingredients like bananas, sweet potato, casava, bread fruits, sweet palm fruit, pumpkin, sagu pearls, jackfruit etc today I choose jack fruit, sweet potato and sweet palm fruit, it’s normally served at Indonesian parties as we always make so much 😊 and nowadays it is very easy to find as lots of people sell it on the road side for snacking, i hope you enjoy the video Happy cooking 😊

550 gr yellow sweet potato
300 gr sweet palm fruit
300 gr jackfruit
400 gr palm sugar
1/4 cup caster sugar
600 ml fresh coconut milk squeezed and sifted from 1/2 coconut meat blended with 500 ml fresh water
1 tsp vanilla paste
5 pcs pandan leaves
1,5 liter water
3 tsp salt
