On 13th September 2016, Wayne Hemingway delivered an inspiring, inaugural, D&T Futures lecture. Wayne spoke on 'the transformative power of design and design’s relevance to a sustainable society'.
The theatre at the Royal College of Arts was full of teachers, students and designers, keen to hear Wayne Hemingway share Hemingway Design’s philosophy that “design is about improving things that matter in life” Wayne described his journey from a market stall to founder of the iconic Red or Dead brand. He spoke about and illustrated his award winning regeneration projects that encompassed many areas of design.
