We break down our finances, so you can see what the monthly cost of living in Portugal looks like. We did have savings (about 25k) when we arrived here almost two years ago, but most of that has been spent on equipment, building supplies, car repairs and life in general. So now we just live with what we receive monthly and we're still doing really well :)
We are Zak and Jackie and together with our child we live in the mountains of Central Portugal. In 2019 we found ourselves buying 2 hectares of abandoned land and a house and we finally made the move in 2022.
