The state of Tamil Nadu is in a turmoil after a statue of Periyar, father of the Dravidian movement has been damaged in Tirupattur town. According to the reports, local BJP leader, Muthukumar and his accomplice were behind the incident. This comes after BJP MP, H Raja threatened to target Periyar statues in Tamil Nadu.
