Some of the sights and sounds from The Mall in London as the Household Division's soldiers and bands march from Wellington Barracks to Horse Guards Parade for the first full public rehearsal of Trooping the Colour, Major General's Review on 28 May 2016. The colour being trooped this year is that of the Coldstream Guards.
There are two such rehearsals before the Trooping the Colour ceremony becomes The Queen's Birthday Parade. The video features almost (but not quite all) all the bands taking part both individually and as massed bands. Also featured are the Drums and Pipes of the Irish Guards, the Corps of Drums (of Coldstream and Irish Guards), the mounted band of The Household Cavalry, and the The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery.
In the video the return march from Horse Guards Parade starts with The King's Troop. The music list is:
[00:00] Band of the Welsh Guards, playing Machine Gun Guards by E Marechal
[00:48] Band of the Scots Guards, playing Sarafand by George Willcocks
[01:24] Corps of Drums (Irish Guards), playing I belong to Glasgow by Will Fyffe
[02:19] Drums and Pipes of the Irish Guards, playing The Bloody Fields of Flanders (2nd part) followed by Lochanside, both composed by PM John McLellan
[03:21] Band of the Irish Guards, playing Guards Armoured Division by George Willcocks
[04:09] Band of the Coldstream Guards, playing Standard of St George by Kenneth Joseph Alford
[04:57] Mounted Band of the Household Cavalry, playing Bravura by Charles Edward Duble
