I’d been wanting to do a video sharing my favorite notebooks, my favorite journal size and my most important “tool” or accessory for my planners and journals. Rather than do each video separately since they all come from the same shop I decided to combine them. Because I was meshing a few topics into one this video is kind of a mish-mash but it covers what I wanted to share with you so I hope you like it.
Nanami Paper is one of my all-time favorite shops. I love their Tomoe river notebooks and they ship crazy fast. I’ve included links to the products discussed in the video below for your shopping pleasure. But I also wanted to touch on Dave’s website a bit because it’s caused some confusion to some folks in the FB groups I’m in.
Dave does close his shop when he travels for business. When this happens you can still access the site and look around but you can’t actually add items to your cart. Dave always updates their home page on their website when he closes shop and provides the dates it will be closed and when it will reopen. BUT if you access the mobile site (shop from your cell phone) the site doesn’t open to this screen – this makes it hard to understand why you can’t add items to the cart and why it seems like nothing is in stock. If this happens all you have to do is scroll to the bottom and click “Switch to Standard View” and you’ll see the home screen indicating if the store is open and closed with some other update notes.
Below are links to each Tomoe river notebook Nanami sells. The A6 has pages 480; the B6 Slim has 384 pages; and the A5 has 480 pages.

Here are the blotter papers that Nanami sells. Blotter paper is my favorite planner tool of all time. It saves you time because you don’t have to wait for ink or watercolor to dry so you can quickly close your book or flip to the next page. It doesn’t make it dry after it just soaks up any excess. You merely have to close the book on the blotter paper and leave it for a moment (like 1 second) and then it’s good to go. It doubles as a page marker/bookmark too!
