Hey guys in this video, i share one secret hack to save you time whilst on placement as a student.

One secret hack to pass placements with less work

a. During your tenure as a student you will have to complete an end of placement presentation/case study on your final week.
b. This is usually to an educator or a group of other clinicians whom you’re working with
c. Considering all the other bits and pieces of work you’ll have to be doing, you want to be doing as less work as possible
d. This is precisely why I came up with this hack to make life easier for myself when I was a student
e. The hack is instead of creating a presentation from scratch on a particular topic/condition, I would suggest a topic to present to my educator which had been already been taught during university lectures.
f. The topic could be a generic condition in a particular area of physio but it was enough to satisfy for a end of placement presentation
g. An example of a topic would be parkinsons disease or a type of stroke. I could use this for my community or neuro placements.
h. Or another example would be COPD for a respiratory placement
i. Now here is where it gets good..
j. Do you really want to know ?..
k. Ok I’ll tell you, since I love bringing you guys value
l. Well now to save yourself doing less work, the lectures that are presented at your university are usually uploaded on an online portal called ‘intranet’ or ‘moodle’.
m. What you can do is instead of creating a new presentation, just use the slides that have been already made by your lecturers in your placements.
n. This way it saves you so much work after coming home from placements tired and sleepy.
o. You can now focus on resting up and relaxing.. a little.
p. The only downside is, you have to be confident in presenting the topic which your'e doing, so that’s something to consider.
