Grandmaster Hu Yuen Chou (Woo Van Cheuk) was born in Hong Kong on September 7, 1934. He learned tai chi from his father when he was just five years old and began teaching at the age of fifteen. Over the past 50 years, he has taught thousands of students and instructed many teachers who have gone on to teach their own students.
He is also an expert in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, qigong, and other traditional Chinese arts.
