Son-Aero is an aircraft parts manufacturing company, as well as a military and defence parts manufacturing company, founded in 1955, and renewed under new ownership in 2018. Originally founded to manufacture rubber components for the aerospace industry, our founders expanded their aeronautical manufacturing capabilities in the nineteen-seventies with a big move to an 88,000-square-foot aerospace manufacturing facility in Anaheim, California.
Led by their owner-operator leadership team, they rely on decades of aerospace manufacturing experience to expertly set batch sizes, forecast streamlined production, reduce manufacturing limitations, and decrease waste. This story explains why Doosan machines have been selected to participate in the companies growth. Explained brilliantly by Kent, the partnership with Ellison Technologies has been integral in being able to help make the companies manufacturing better. The companies latest purchase is a Doosan DVF 5000 with AWC. A machine that most won't associate with low volume running however they should. Pallet systems are perfect for high value, low volume manufacturing.
